Galatasaray players showed guts all season - not being paid, decisions going Fener's way, two sound beatings from Fener..... but they kept bouncing back. Hasan Kabzes's goal last week epitomised Gala this season. And this is from someone who bet Fener to win the league!!
Gulay, that report was just fantastic. Not the result mind you, but your reporting. You managed to capture everything, the theatre, the paper, the excitement.
Well done my girl! I just wish we could have the sane sort of stuff to write about here in Ankara.
By the way, I notice that Brendan is commenting on your blog, I thıought he was one of ours!
Gulay, I was at the game, I almost when straight to the airport from Ali Sami yen. What a night! Truly one of the best nights in Turkey's football history.
I must also add that seeing Fener fans crying and smashing anything they could find in Bagdat cadesi plus the way they greeted their team at the airport. They are real losers!!!!
Last night showed clearly how big the difference between the quality of fans is!!
Thanks everyone, it was a heartstopping, nail biting ending and I wish I could have been there. I am still trying top believe that it happened after all the problems. I am glad though that I am in the US was after all the trouble though.
